What drew you to become a massage therapist?

My journey started in 2012 when I was training for a half marathon and injured my thigh. I am passionate about running so I was devastated at the thought of not being able to compete, but with the help of a brilliant massage therapist I was able to complete my training and finish the race. I realised that without them I wouldn't be able to do what I love, and this is the reason I am a massage therapist today. I know just how important it can be for our overall wellbeing.

How would you describe your massage style?

I am trained in sports massage so I am able to incorporate a combination of the following techniques. These can be used for more therapeutic treatments as well as relaxation treatments.

  • Deep tissue

  • Remedial techniques

  • Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques (ASSTs)

  • Muscle Energy Technique (MET)

  • Soft Tissue Release (STR)

  • Fascial Release Technique (FRT)

  • Neuro-Muscular Technique (NMT)

  • Positional Release Technique (PRT)

  • Relaxation massage

  • Deeply grounding techniques
